This list of visits may be summerised as follows :- (in Transit)

Province Co-operative Movement. Industrial Enterprise.
Burma 11 7
Bengal 14 9
United Province 1 10
Panjab 33 10
Bombay 21 5
Total 80 41

Form the above it will be gathered that, within the period of time actually spent in Burma and India (130 days), every advantage was taken to see as much as possible of the Co-operative movement in the Provinces visited, as well as those various types of Industrial enterprise which were readily accessible.

As the tour was primarily intended for the purpose of studying the Co-operative movement, we do not propose to deal in detail with the industrial enterprises visited, although much valuable information and insight was gained. The scope of this Report will be to deal in detail with the various aspects of the Co-operative movement that we saw in each Province, seriatim : and then to discuss generally, and to compare, the information thus set forth : and finally to endeavour to put forward some practical suggestions with regard to carrying out those of the methods seen, which are considered to be most suitable for the extension of the movement in Siam.

At the outset it may be emphasized that Co-operation in its modern form is by no means a simple subject, but is one which will require deep study on the part of all those, who will be called upon to undertake, or interest themselves in the extension of the movement in Siam.
